The Bushcraft Company, part of The Active Learning Group operates across 8 venues, offering residential school trips with a difference, taking students into the wild and giving them a back-to-nature experience, they will never forget.

With guidance from the Team Manager, and as part of a friendly and supportive team, this role has been designed to supplement The Bushcraft Company’s new sales generation to meet ambitious growth targets over the next 3 years.

The key aim of this role is to make contact with a high volume of schools, gaining interest from teachers and arranging meetings for our field sales team. This role will be from the head office in Abingdon.

Appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and two satisfactory references.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Calling Schools in line with an outlined calling pattern
  • Managing your own lead pipeline
  • Conversing with teachers in a friendly and appropriate way
  • Preparing and sending emails
  • Booking meetings/ Diary management
  • Assisting the field team with follow-up, as necessary.
  • Building relationships with wider sales team
  • Supporting customer service team in non-sales periods
